WIREFUSE SUPPORT
Let’s get you
connected.
Set up your first connection, find an answer or get in touch.
Add your VPN profile
You need a WireGuard or compatible AmneziaWG configuration from your VPN provider or server administrator. WireFuse does not include VPN servers or a provider subscription.
Open the step-by-step import guide →
Upload from your phone or computer
- Connect Apple TV and your phone or computer to the same trusted network.
- In WireFuse, open Profiles → Add VPN profile → Local profile transfer and start receiving.
- Scan the QR code or enter the address shown on the TV in your browser. Use this address, not wirefuse.app: your configuration goes directly to your TV.
- Enter the pairing code. Choose your configuration file, or switch to the text option and paste its contents.
- Review the configuration on Apple TV before saving. Select the saved profile, connect, and allow Apple’s VPN configuration request if prompted.
Keep the receiving screen open during the transfer. Local browser transfer uses unencrypted HTTP. Only use it on a network you trust.
The local upload page won’t open
Check that both devices are on the same network and the receiving screen is open. Enter the full address shown on the TV, including http:// and its port. Guest networks or access-point isolation can prevent devices from reaching one another.
A new transfer session can have a new address or code. Use what the TV currently shows. You do not upload a configuration to this support website.
Can I import from a link or type the details?
Yes. Choose Download from a link for an HTTPS URL that returns a configuration file. A provider’s login or subscription page is not a configuration file. Choose Manual setup to enter the configuration fields yourself.
My configuration is not accepted
Read the specific validation message and compare the configuration with your provider’s instructions. WireGuard and AmneziaWG use different configuration options. Do not remove settings just to make the file pass validation: they may be required by your server. Ask your provider for a compatible export if needed.
Understand your connection
Follow the connection troubleshooting guide →
Connected, but no internet?
Check internet access on Apple TV, then look at server verification and the latest handshake in WireFuse. An active tunnel does not by itself prove that the VPN server is responding.
If the server is not verified, check the server’s availability, endpoint and keys with your provider. Disconnect before editing the configuration. If the server responds but names do not resolve, inspect the profile’s DNS settings and use Settings → Diagnostics → DNS check. If only some destinations fail, review the routes and any server restrictions.
Why can’t I change profiles while connected?
Disconnect first, then switch or edit the profile. While connected, you can still browse your saved profiles and their details.
Does “The name resolved” mean there are no DNS leaks?
No. It means the requested name lookup succeeded. The DNS check is not a complete DNS or IPv6 leak test, and server verification does not prove that all internet destinations are reachable.
When is my custom DNS used?
The profile’s custom tunnel DNS applies while the VPN is connected. WireFuse does not deliberately replace a failing custom resolver with system DNS. Check the service address and its reachability if lookups fail. This describes WireFuse’s resolver policy; it is not a guarantee about all operating-system traffic.
DDNS settings are separate: they refresh the VPN server endpoint when its address changes.
Is Live traffic a speed test?
No. It shows recent upload and download activity calculated from VPN counters while the app is open. It does not measure your connection’s maximum speed. The graph history is not saved.
Free use & Lifetime access
Every connection includes 3 minutes of free use, with all features available. The VPN disconnects when time runs out. A one-time Lifetime access purchase removes this connection time limit. There is no subscription.
What does Lifetime access include?
Unlimited connection duration in WireFuse. It does not include a VPN server, a provider account or a provider subscription. The purchase screen shows the price for your App Store storefront before you confirm.
How do I restore a purchase?
Open the Lifetime access screen and choose Restore Purchases. Use the Apple account that made the purchase and wait for the result. An internet connection may be needed to verify access.
If WireFuse says no purchase was found, check the Apple account and purchase history before trying again. Do not purchase a second time just to troubleshoot. If the purchase is still missing, contact us with the app version and the result shown. Do not send your Apple password or payment details.
A purchase is waiting for approval
WireFuse cannot activate Lifetime access until Apple confirms the transaction. Complete any required approval through Apple, then return to the app. You can continue using free connections while approval is pending.
How do I request a refund?
Apple handles App Store payments and refund requests. Visit Apple’s purchase support and sign in there. Refund eligibility is determined by Apple.
