Three ways to put your VPN on Apple TV.
Start with what you already have.

01 / YOUR VPN PROVIDER

Bring the VPN you already use.

Use a compatible configuration from your provider on Apple TV. Keep the service you chose, with a connection you control from the sofa.

What you’ll need

A provider that exports a WireGuard or compatible AmneziaWG configuration. Your provider account or subscription stays separate from WireFuse.

From profile to connection

  1. Create or download an Apple TV configuration in your provider’s account. A provider username and password alone are not a VPN profile.
  2. Open local profile transfer in WireFuse. From a browser on the same network, choose the file or paste the configuration, then review it on your TV.
  3. Connect and check server verification. Try your usual TV apps during the free three-minute connection before choosing Lifetime access.

Available locations and access to individual services depend on your provider and those services. WireFuse does not guarantee access to a streaming catalogue.

Connect Apple TV to a WireGuard or AmneziaWG server you manage. Keep the server, DNS and routing choices in your hands.

What you’ll need

A running, reachable VPN server and a client configuration created for this Apple TV. Server hosting and administration are separate.

From profile to connection

  1. Create a client on your server using its administration tools. Export the matching configuration, including any AmneziaWG parameters the server requires.
  2. Import the profile into WireFuse and review the endpoint, DNS and routes. Keep the server’s required settings intact.
  3. Connect and check server verification, the latest handshake and traffic counters. If the server address changes, review the DNS & DDNS guide.

WireFuse connects to your server; it does not install or administer it. Internet access through the tunnel also needs the appropriate server routing.

03 / YOUR HOME NETWORK

Reach home when you’re away.

Give an Apple TV away from home a route to services on your home network, such as a media server that supports access by address.

What you’ll need

A reachable home VPN server, routes to your home subnet and a TV app that can use the service’s direct address.

From profile to connection

  1. Set up remote access on your home VPN server. Confirm that its endpoint is reachable from outside your home and that it can forward traffic to the service.
  2. Import its client profile. Check the intended home-network routes and avoid overlapping address ranges between your home and the network Apple TV is using.
  3. Connect, confirm server verification and open a known home service by its address in the relevant TV app. If only names fail, check DNS.

Local device discovery may not cross the VPN. The home server, return routes and service permissions must also be configured; WireFuse cannot change them for you.
